Prior to enter the entertainment industry. I was trained as an architect receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Argentina. Because of my interest in theatre, I studied theatrical and opera scenic and costume design at the Colon Opera House in Buenos Aires.
The language of motion picture always fascinated me, but I had never realized that scenic design could be an entire career, so I was inspired to find out more about the role played by the Production Designer in a film.
I came to the United States to study first at UCLA Extension Program at the Certificate Program in Film and Television with a specialization in Production Design. Later I obtained a Fine Arts Master's degree in Production Design from the American Film Institute (AFI).
During my studies at AFI, I designed numerous short films most of which were officially selected at numerous film festivals in the United States and around the world.
Since graduating from AFI, I had been working in numerous productions for film and TV. My first industry job in the industry was working as a Set Designer on the 20th Century Fox "Flight of the Phoenix". Since then, I worked my way up through the Art Department as an Assistant Art Director and Set Designer for films and television shows. My credits include the feature films "Tekken", "Blood the Last Vampire", "Oz: "Oz: The Great and Powerful", the mini-series "Griselda", "The Good Lord Bird" as well as the television shows "American Horror Story", "Strange Angel", "Grand Hotel" among others.
